The lion’s mane powder and extract group standard released

On June 23, 2021, Zhejiang Health Products &Cosmetics Industry Association released the lion’s mane powder and extract group standard at the 2^ndYangtze River Delta Nutritional Health Food Research and Innovation Forum in Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Centre.

In October 2020, Biosan Biotech Co. Ltd (Biosan) proposed the program of making the lion’s mane powder extract group standard to Zhejiang Health Products &Cosmetics Industry Association, and the association approved Biosan’s program and appointed Biosan to be the leader to draw up the standard. Biosan organized related companies and testing institutions to join and took about half year to finish the standards.Qian Feng, director of department of Laws and Regulations of the association, gave a presentation on the drafting note of the standard at the conference.

Ms Yan Zhang, chairman of Zhejiang Health Products &Cosmetics Industry Association participated the releasing ceremony and awarded the certificate of major drafter to Ms. Xingli Wang, president of Biosan.

The lion’s mane powder and extract group standard is the first standard of Lion’s mane food ingredient in China. It will normalize the quality of Lion’s mane food products in the market and improve the quality of Lion’s mane food products.
