China NFGA Issued the Common Medicinal Herbs Cultivation Guideline Including 4 Mushrooms
 
In order to thoroughly implement the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on promoting the Inheritance, Innovation and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and promote the high-quality development of Chinese herbal medicine industry, NFGA( National Forestry and Grassland Administration) has complied the Guidelines for the Development of Chinese Herbal Medicine Industry and published 154 types of Classified Statistical Tables of Annual Demand of Commonly Used Chinese Herbal Medicine.
 
The move by NFGA is of great significance to Chinese herbal medicine growers all over the country. Poria, Ganoderma lucidum, Polyporus, and Cordyceps sinensis are all listed in the statistics. Among them, Poria has the largest annual demand, about 10,000 to 50,000 tons per year; The annual demand for Cordyceps sinensis is 100 to 1,000 tons. Industry practitioners can scientifically arrange production according to this demand and avoid blindly following the trend.
